British Orchard Nursery Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi: The popular British nursery is back with its annual summer camp – this time revolving around the theme of exploration.  Titled ‘the adventures of Mr Pips’ – the 8-week summer camp will give children the chance to accompany Mr Pips on his journey of exploration, that will unleash unique concepts about land, water, air and outer space through interesting experiential activities, books and illustrations.

Kids will spend the first couple of weeks learning all about under the sea in a fun and creative way. They’ll get close to marine mammals and go behind the scenes and learn all about the world of water. The second half of the fun-filled summer camp will focus on every kid’s favourite topic – outer space and astronaut-related themes and activities. From discovering more about the Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of the solar system, this hands-on camp will send children on an exciting quest for exploration with comets, planets, stars and more.

British Orchard Nursery will also conduct one science experiment per week related to each of the concepts, so children can interact with the world around them, both inside and outside the classroom. Additionally, as a CSR initiative, all the British Orchard Nursery branches in the UAE will use recycled materials to transform the nursery into different areas as per the theme, including an underwater room, land room, earth room, outer space room, etc. so children get a first-hand experience when they visit these specially decorated areas.

Summer Camp at the British Orchard Nursery, (Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi) areas of learning include:

• Understanding the world

• British Orchard Nursery Summer camp 2018 will run from 1st July 2018 to 23rd August (8 weeks)

• Sunday to Thursday, half day or full day camps from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Extended Camp timings for working parents are: from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• British EYF- based learning and development principles followed for activities
• Age group – 1 to 5 years. Children below 1 year will be able to attend if they are either already enrolled in British Orchard Nursery or registered to start in September 2018.
