The workshop will be held at the historic Qasr Al Muwaiji Palace to develop public information and expand knowledge of the birthplace of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The palace was originally used as a diwan (a council/  seat of governance) and as a place for the community to congregate together. Built in the early years of the 20th century, it has been restored to its former glory and reopened to the public as a museum and permanent exhibit.

Visitors today can explore the history of the palace, its significance as a family home and as a place of governance and its role as part of the Al Ain community.
