Kings’ School Al Barsha to hold Family Fest this Saturday

Kings’ School Al Barsha will open the doors for a day of family fun on Saturday, 2nd March with its first community event of 2019.

A fantastic day out for all the family, slather on the sunscreen and make the most of the glorious winter weather with a morning of al fresco entertainment, retail opportunities, performing arts and more in the stunning grounds of the school.

Open to all, Family Fest will feature delicious eats from a procession of popular food trucks, cool gifts and handcrafted style on display from local art and craft entrepreneurs, and a schedule of live entertainment from dance and martial arts performers.

Learn about the exciting programmes from the experts at Science Made Fun, Ecoventure and Chess Knowledge team, and be entertained by in-demand children’s magician, Magic Phil; British Overseas Dramatic Arts (BODA) performances; and talented exponents of Shaolin martial arts.

Get sporty and try your hand at archery, scale the super cool climbing wall or enjoy a kick about with the guys from City Football Club.

Or, sample and shop for delicious Camelicious products, Lebanese farm and village-inspired dairy items from Balade Farms and the freshest, locally sourced goodies from Ripe Markets.

Be sure to get your blood pressure checked, as well as receiving a free diabetes screening courtesy of Parkview Mediclinic throughout the day.

And last but not least, don’t miss a tour of the Kings’ School Al Barsha campus and chat with the teaching team, students and parents!
