hearts
Giving and sharing
begins in the home
where parents teach
by example. Be it
watching mum cook
meals for the less
fortunate, donating
clothes to families or
simply sharing toys,
little kids with big
hearts can make a
difference one small
action at a time.
O n a daily basis many parents often hear the
selfish words of their children. Give me that,
or that’s mine is constantly heard through the
house. It is natural for parents to be concerned when
children begin to develop and display these undesirable
tendencies. A child must be taught from infancy to be
generous. Children hold on to the traits that they are
taught during their infancy. At an early age little ones
learn to share food, clothing, and other things with those
around them. These children usually grow to become
well-adjusted mature adults. A very simple way to tell
whether your child is generous or selfish is to observe
them while they are playing with other children.
