Mother’s Day is traditionally a time of year when
children across the world show their mums

how much they love and appreciate them. Last
month was Mother’s Day across the Middle East.
To celebrate this special day, BabyBling hosted a
Mother’s Day event on March 21st at Caribou
Coffee where mums were treated to massages,
manicures and pedicures and their children were

entertained by Peekaboo.

Mother’s Day is celebrated on different days around
the world. In England, Mother’s Day falls on the fourth
Sunday of Lent, which is on April 3 this year. In most
other parts of the world, namely the US, Canada,
Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, South Africa, India
and Pakistan, Mother’s Day is on the second Sunday in
May.
INTERESTING FACT: Did you know that Mother’s
Day dates all the way back to 1914 when US President
Woodrow Wilson dedicated a day to mothers?
