Inspired by elements of the natural sandy landscape, the Middle Eastern restaurant Sand offers a diverse menu of Emirati, Arabian, Uzbek, Moroccan, and Georgian delicacies in a trendy and contemporary atmosphere

Sand is owned by Mr. Aleksandr Orlov, Co-Founder of Dubai-based leading hospitality company Bulldozer Group, that is also behind Gaia, Shanghai Me, Cipriani and Scalini.

Located at the newly opened shopping and leisure destination, City Centre Al Zahia in Sharjah, the venue provides both indoor and outdoor eating options on a magnificent open-air terrace with stunning views and lush vegetation, making it the ideal place to get together with friends and family to enjoy the finer things in life.

An entrance in the shape of a sand dune welcomes and leads you to the interior dining area, which can seat 100 people.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed and inviting casual atmosphere. For breakfast the main highlights are Emirati pancakes with chocolate sauce and berries, Arabic breakfast tray with boiled eggs, hummus, falafel, labneh, fresh vegetables, olives and pita bread, and falafel with halloumi and creamy truffle sauce.

The lunch & dinner menu comprises a varied selection of salads & soups such as Fattoush vegetable salad, warm eggplant salad, lentil soup and lagman with lamb. For mains indulge in halibut with grilled tomato and avocado, lamb shank with quinoa and salmon steak with burghul and saffron sauce.
