Dubai welcomes a bold new concept in creative play with launch of Super Duper Studio
Dubai’s Al Quoz district recently saw the launch of an innovative new venture aimed at transforming how children experience creativity, self-expression, and play.
Super Duper Studio, a vibrant, purpose-built creative space for children, opened its doors in Goshi Warehouse City, offering a unique blend of design, performance, and sensory-rich activities, all carefully crafted to help young minds express themselves freely.
Co-founded by Dubai-based entrepreneurs and mothers Iram Khan and Priyal Bhartia, Super Duper Studio represents a bold shift in the landscape of children’s recreation in the city. Combining creative entrepreneurship with a deep understanding of childhood development, the duo has created what they describe as “the ultimate self-expression studio for kids”.
“Dubai is a city that celebrates innovation and individuality—but when it comes to children’s spaces, there’s still room for more inclusive, imaginative environments”, says Khan. “Super Duper Studio flips the traditional script. It’s not about rules or structure. It’s about empowering children to explore who they are, loudly and proudly”.
The studio offers a wide range of immersive zones designed to inspire creativity and confidence. The Design Corner allows young artists to personalise fashion and accessories using patches, beads, glitter, and more. The Dress-Up Corner features a sensory-friendly salon with colourful braids, face paint, and temporary tattoos. Meanwhile, the Super Duper Stage invites budding performers to sing, dance, or role-play in front of a live audience—leaving with a framed photo of their moment in the spotlight.
Beyond drop-in play, the studio also offers workshops, playdate and party packages, and a rotating calendar of community events from ceramic painting and storytelling sessions to poetry jams and yoga. These offerings are designed not only to entertain but also to nurture emotional resilience and self-assurance.
“We’re not just opening a space”, says Bhartia. “We’re building a movement around creative confidence. Super Duper is about helping children embrace what makes them different and celebrating it”.
With its bold concept and mission-driven ethos, Super Duper Studio is poised to carve out a unique niche in Dubai’s growing family and leisure market. It reflects a broader trend toward experiential offerings that prioritise emotional intelligence, creativity, and personalised learning.
Families, educators, and visitors alike are invited to explore this colourful, courageous, and completely kid-powered addition to Dubai’s cultural and recreational scene.
