Babyshop’s Parent-Child Cricket Camp

What is it?

One of the UAE’s biggest parenting brands is collaborating with the ICC to run a parent and child cricket camp this summer. Three to six-year-olds can take part with their parents, whereas children aged six-twelve-years-old can attend classes alone. The sessions will teach kids the fundamentals of playing cricket tailored to their age group. The targeted classes are also designed to help develop motor skills, bonding – and of course help foster a love of the game. The camp runs in a block, allowing kids to build on their skills over several weeks.

Seven Weeks of Discovery and Adventure

What is it?

For seven weeks over the school holidays Le Meridien Mina Seyahi is running a kids summer camp. Kids aged six-twelve-years-old can take part in a range of pool games and water sports, along with football training all under the supervision of qualified trainers and instructors.

Dubai Sports World’s Ultimate Arena

What is it?

Dubai Sports World is running more than 10 sports academies over the summer for both adults and children. Training classes are available for football, cricket, tennis wresting and many other sports. There’s also a kids-only camp available at the centre, managed by Just Play Sports Camp. Running over the summer break, the camp will include dance classes, trampoline games, yoga, dance, rugby and many others.

Three football academies.

What is it?

Does your child have a talent for football? If so, you might want to consider enrolling them in one of the elite football academies held in Dubai this summer. This summer the Juventus Football Camp, the International Football Academy and the KAFO Academy will all operate in the city. All three camps are held at Dubai Sports World, offering intensive drills, practices and games. There will also be coaches with experience of the European Football League on hand to offer tips and advice.

Hayley’s Comet

 

What is it?

 

Do you have a future Frank Sinatra or Bette Davis on your hands? You might want to consider sending your budding prima donna to musical theatre camp this summer. Award-winning theatre school Hayley’s Comet are running classes from Sunday to Thursday throughout July and August.

The classes will cover theatre, dance and voice classes, helping kids to channel their creativity. Each project starts on a Sunday, and ends with a performance on Thursday.
